Itinerary

Accommodation Information

Each guest room has been designed to showcase the views over Ruaha from every corner, be it from the bed, the desk or the bathroom. Every way you turn, nature is evident. Timber, used in the studded wooden doors and the bed (manufactured from aged timber), gives an earthy feel to the rooms as well as allowing the structures to blend effortlessly with the environment. Soft colours are used throughout, letting the stunning surroundings take centre stage. Vertical feature elements within the rooms represent the ancient baobabs that dot Ruaha's landscape and, making use of the Venturi effect', assist in the cooling of the rooms. The curved shape of the trunks create rounded walls that curve through the bathroom and dressing area. Palm-woven matting, sourced from Zanzibar, is used on the ceiling to further cool the room

Service Information

Travelling into and out of bush airstrips is an exciting adventure. It allows you to fly over some of the most scenic landscapes in Africa, and offers a unique perspective from what you will have seen from your safari vehicle. Specially selected Cessna Grand Caravans tend to operate the flights, due to their versatile nature and ability to handle bush conditions with ease. Please note that soft bags are reccommended for these flights due to limited luggage capacity. Weight allowance for luggage is 15kg per person unless additional luggage allowance is purchased in advance
